Application of blockchain technology

Abstract

This paper aims to provide the basics of decentralized databases in the newest Blockchain struc- ture. The principles of construction and the way of working are introduced. The known strengths and weaknesses are considered. A short comparative analysis between Blockchain and the old database structures was made. We have also paid attention to future opportunities for exploitation, as well as the assessment of the development over time.
