Abstract

In this paper we show how Mongo DB changes our ideas about databases, how world passes from relational database management system (RDBMS) to NoSQL databases and how quickly they take over our attention. We describe some types of databases and compare them with document ones. Then we compare some document databases in order to show the advantages of Mongo DB. We show the usages of Mongo DB and reasons why it becomes most popular NoSQL database and why we shall choose it.
